The West Virginia Board of Treasury Investments five member Board consist of the Governor, State Treasurer, and State Auditor who serve by virtue of their offices. The State Treasurer is Chairman of the Board. Two additional members are appointed by the Governor and must include a lawyer and CPA who are well versed in finance and investments. The board of directors represent the interests of the participants as it monitors the effectiveness of management’s policies, decisions, and execution of strategies.
